Landon Estate is a wedding venue in Clayton, NC that pairs a restored 1828 Estate House with a bright Main Hall of exposed beams and crystal chandeliers. Get ready in a private suite, say your vows under hundred-year-old pecan trees, and walk a few steps to dinner. Affordable luxury, with the whole day in one place.

One estate for your whole day
Getting ready, the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception all happen a short walk apart. No shuttles and no second venue.
Getting Ready
Start the day in one of two private dressing suites. One sits in the Estate House with its own lounge and full bath; the other opens onto the back deck and patio. There is room for each of you and your wedding party to settle in.
The Ceremony
Exchange vows in the rustic charm of our Pecan Grove, at the Historic Overlook, on the Bluestone Patio or in the Main Hall under crystal chandeliers. Four settings, with an indoor option always ready.
Cocktail Hour
Time to say cheers. Guests mingle in the Cocktail Lounge by the stone fireplace, on the covered and heated porch, out on the Bluestone Patio or across the lawn.
The Reception
Dinner and dancing fill the 2,900-square-foot Reception Hall and the 1,200-square-foot Cocktail Lounge beside it, 4,100 square feet in all. Your menu is built with you by Under The Oak Catering.

The Main Hall
4,100 sq. ft. of reception space for up to 200 seated guests or 275 cocktail style: the 2,900 sq. ft. Reception Hall, a great room with crystal chandeliers and exposed wood beams, plus the 1,200 sq. ft. Cocktail Lounge with a stone hearth fireplace and a built-in bar counter. Both open onto a covered and heated porch.
The Estate House
Built in 1828 and renovated in 2024. Two dressing suites, a lounge and three hardwood-floored gathering rooms across 3,500 sq. ft. Best for smaller groups of up to 60, or as a pass-through on the way to the ceremony or cocktail hour.

Our owners have catered Triangle weddings as Under The Oak Catering since 2017, and the team has more than 500 weddings behind it. Your menu is built with you, cooked on site and served by people who know every corner of the estate.
At the bar, ask for the smoked pecan old fashioned. It is made with pecans grown on the property.

How many guests can Landon Estate host?
The Main Hall seats up to 200 guests, or 275 for a cocktail-style reception. For smaller groups, the Estate House works for up to 60, or as a pass-through on the way to the ceremony or cocktail hour.
How much does a wedding at Landon Estate cost?
Venue rental for 2027 and 2028 runs from $3,500 for an off-peak weekday to $8,000 for a peak-season Saturday. See the pricing above for every season and day. Catering, bar service and rentals are quoted separately.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Every outdoor ceremony has an indoor backup. We move the ceremony into the Main Hall, with cocktail hour on the covered, heated porch and lounge, and our team handles the switch.
How long do we have the venue?
Your rental includes all-day access to the grounds from 10 AM to 10 PM, with your choice of any of our facilities.
Who handles catering and the bar?
Under The Oak Catering handles both, right here on site. Your menu is built with you and cooked at the estate. Catering, bar service and rentals are quoted separately.
Do you offer wedding coordination?
Ask about coordination when you check your date. Devan or Kaitlyn will walk you through what is available for your day.
